Partner Growth Manager - France

This is a critical role on the Partnerships team with a high visibility and significant customer impact in France. You will represent Lightspeed’s brand, nurture new and lead existing relationships with key strategic reseller and referral partners. As an extension of our partner’s business, you will use the market leading resources and expertise within Lightspeed to provide dedicated and tailored support. The successful candidate will have a good mix of skills that include an ability to understand a variety of partnerships and their value propositions, strong communication skills to build and deepen partner relationships, an ability to work effectively cross-functionally with both internal and external teams, and a desire to drive significant growth of our business. 

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Earning and developing a trusting direct relationships with partners to influence joint business goals, to deliver an exceptional customer experience while maximizing partner value
  • Ongoing partner management, proactively anticipating and/or resolving issues and utilizing reporting and analytics to optimize business programs
  • Adapting and activating global go-to-market, sales improvement and product strategies locally through deep local expertise and understanding of market needs, to drive local partner impact.
  • Developing business acumen to uncover partner priorities to identify, size, and propose joint business and program expansion opportunities, with measurable milestones and defined ROI in account plans.
  • Accurately forecasting with your partners and being accountable for success metrics and partner growth revenue targets 
  • Coordinating product training and on-boarding of new partners, and maintaining high standards of partner performance by facilitating retraining of partners staff as required. 
  • Advocating for partners’ needs with internal Lightspeed teams, building strong relationships with stakeholders and providing compelling evidence to inspire action.
  • Being a subject matter expert to understand how Lightspeed’s commerce platform can be applied to all stages of our customer’s retail or restaurant operations
  • Attending marketing and industry events

 

What you’ll be bringing to the team:

  • Proven track record in B2B sales, account management or partnerships experience and with competency in CRM, such as Salesforce.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; A true motivator with positive energy, and an ability to adapt language and communicate effectively to engage and persuade diverse stakeholder groups on all levels.
  • Sound business judgment, with a good balance between strategic, analytical and project management skills to deliver operational execution.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, with experience prioritizing and managing tasks effectively that will have the biggest positive impact for partners. 
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams across sales, account management, marketing, operations, product development, legal teams, etc…
  • Self-motivated, results-driven and autonomous with a proven track-record as individual contributor hitting monthly/quarterly sales quotas. 
  • Excellent English and French oral and written communication skills.  
  • The flexibility to (after Covid) travel regularly to meet with different partners.

 

Even better if you have, but not necessary: 

  • Experience managing reseller and referral partnerships 
  • SaaS experience in an eCommerce, retail or hospitality environment
  • Are interested in new and emerging technologies
  • Working on an international team
